Selah's mom answered a model call last fall. Every so often when I need to work on a stylized session, get test shots, product shots, practice a new technique, or to just shoot just for me I will send out model calls. In this case I was looking for a sweet freckled red head, and Selah fit the bill perfectly. Selah is fantastic! She is so well mannered and follows directions better than most adults I photograph. We first went to my location that I have named "the hobo house" it was a cold and windy day and I'm pretty sure Selah was chilly but she wouldnt admit to it. We also spent some time in the studio, where I wanted a more simple and posed look. The images from both really make me happy! I find that when I shoot just for me and I have free range to let my creativity do whatever it wants to do that my images are on an entirely different level!
