Have you ever wondered what the inside of a professional photography studio looks like?
Well, today I'm giving you a little tour of mine!
Welcome to Braly Studios, my Fort Worth photography studio, where I've spent years creating everything from beautiful, classic portraits to some of my craziest creative ideas.
I absolutely LOVE having my own studio. It's my creative space, where I get to experiment with lighting, play with new ideas, and create portraits that are completely different from what you might expect.
But it's also a place I've designed with my clients in mind. I want you to walk through the door and feel comfortable, relaxed, and excited about what's about to happen.
So come on in! Let me show you around.
I've been a professional photographer in Fort Worth for over 17 years, and having my own photography studio has always been important to me.
In fact, I rented my very first studio before I even had an established client base!
I had four little kids at home, a dream of building a photography business, and absolutely no proof that it was going to work.
But I took the chance anyway.
And I'm SO glad I did.
Over the years, my studio has changed and grown right along with my business.
Today, my Fort Worth portrait studio is a space where I can create just about anything I can dream up.
And if you've followed my work for any length of time, you know I dream up some pretty interesting things!
Here's something you might not know about me.
I LOVE lighting.
I love experimenting with it, studying it, and figuring out new ways to use it.
Inside my Fort Worth photography studio, I have professional lighting equipment, large softboxes, and other tools that allow me to create different looks without ever leaving the room.
Sometimes I want beautiful, soft light that feels natural.
Other times, I want bold shadows and dramatic lighting that make a portrait look like it belongs in a magazine.
And sometimes I want to try something I've never done before just to see if I can make it work.
That's when things get REALLY fun!
Now, let's talk about the part of the studio that's all about YOU.
I want my clients to feel taken care of from the moment they arrive.
My studio has a private changing area, a client wardrobe, and a space for our professional hair and makeup artists to get you ready for your session.
You don't have to worry about rushing from a salon to your photography session or trying to change clothes in your car.
And because this is Texas, one of the BEST parts is that my studio is climate-controlled.
I like to keep it nice and cool, around 68 degrees.
Which means no sweating through your makeup in August, no wind blowing your hair everywhere, and no mosquitoes trying to join your portrait session.
HA!
And yes, I keep snacks and water around, too.
It's the little things that make the experience more enjoyable.
One thing I love about having a professional portrait studio in Fort Worth is that we can create so many different looks in one location.
I have a variety of paper backdrops, lighting options, and creative tools that allow us to completely change the mood of a portrait.
We can create something clean and modern.
Something soft and romantic.
Something bold and dramatic.
Or something completely unexpected.
And we can do all of that without packing up and driving to another location!
I photograph high school seniors, women, families, and branding clients in my studio, and no two sessions have to look alike.
Because I don't believe everyone should have the exact same pictures.
Okay, this might be my favorite part of having my own studio.
I get to PLAY!
I've used projectors to create galaxies and stars around my clients.
I've experimented with fog, unique props, and creative lighting techniques.
I've created portraits with a hanging moon, and I've tried ideas that sounded a little crazy until I actually made them happen.
And I'll tell you something.
Not every idea works the first time!
Sometimes I have to move lights around, change my approach, or start over completely.
But I love that part of the creative process.
Having my own Fort Worth photography studio means I have a space where I can experiment and keep pushing myself creatively.
And when one of those ideas finally comes together?
OH MY GOSH. That's the BEST feeling!
Something else I want you to know about Braly Studios is that you don't just show up and hope for the best.
Every client starts with a consultation.
I want to get to know you, learn what you love, and talk about what you want from your portraits.
We'll discuss wardrobe, styling, locations, and creative ideas before your session.
That way, when you walk into my studio, we already have a plan.
And if you're nervous about being photographed, please don't worry.
You do NOT have to know how to pose.
That's my job!
I'll guide you through the entire session, from where to put your hands to how to position your body and even your facial expressions.
You just get to show up and enjoy the experience.
After more than 17 years as a Fort Worth portrait photographer, I still get excited every time I walk into my studio with a new idea.
I love that this space allows me to be creative.
I love that it gives my clients a comfortable, private place to be photographed.
And I love that some of my favorite portraits have been created right here in my studio.
Whether you're looking for a Fort Worth studio photographer for senior pictures, women's beauty portraits, family photography, professional headshots, or personal branding, I'd love to welcome you into my studio.
I hope this little tour gives you a better idea of what Braly Studios looks like and what you can expect when you come visit.
And maybe, just maybe, it gets you excited about what we could create together!
