What to look for in a newborn photographer... 

Your pregnant, its time to start looking for a newborn photographer.. but where do you begin? Being a newborn photographer is way more than just getting the lighting right and pushing a button. Your responsible for a newborn baby usually just days old, making sure they are safe and comfortable is your first priority . My number one goal in all of my newborn sessions is to make sure the newborns are always totally comfortable and 110% safe. You have to be careful when posing newborns, and experience in training in these poses are necessary. Does your photographer make sure its nice and warm in their studio? Does your photographer keep hands on the baby at all times because even newborns can be unpredictable and roll of props, no newborn should be left unattended on a prop. Your photographer should have a clean environment, I wash my hands multiple times a session and hand sanitizer is always close by.  When interviewing photographers these are all questions you should ask them. 

Also you might want to look for a milestone package. Babies grow faster their first year than any other time in their lives. Within that first year they will go from squishy sleepy newborn to feisty, busy, giggly, curious walking toddler.
